was born on August 8th, 1970 in Vevey (Switzerland).
In 1992, after a four-year long apprenticeship in Handbookbinding at the École Romande des Arts Graphiques of Lausanne, I followed for a whole year the specialisation courses at the Centro del Bel Libro of Ascona (Ticino, Switzerland).
From 1993 to 1996 I have been working in Basel (Switzerland) in several bookbinding-, restauring- and framing workshops such as the Basler Papiermühle Museum für Schrift und Druck (Papermill Museum for Script and Printing).
In 1996 I moved to Barcelona (Spain), where I opened my own workshop. There I gave training courses and worked for privates and artists and also participated at expositions.
Since September 2005 I am living in Milan (Italy) and moved my workshop to Via Alessi 13, tel. +39 02 58109236.

In my work I like to eliminate, to take off and to depurate.
I love to let the material express itself.
I like clean and well carried out work.
My aim is to work without any effort, like in a fluent game.
I love learning and transmitting.
Making books is for me a way to come closer to persons.
The exchange nourishes me and allows me to know the others and myself.
Hence rises the game and the pleasure to create, without haste or pretensions.
Creation is for me a way to reach the heart of other people.
